About us

Hi, I'm Ishika.

I am a final-year law student at the Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka (Batch of 2022-2027), based in Delhi. I previously interned at De Legal, a law firm, where I gained hands-on experience with client matters, drafting, and court proceedings.

I started LawVibes for one simple reason: legal knowledge should not be locked inside heavy textbooks and confusing jargon.

As a law student, I saw my own non-lawyer family members struggle to understand basic legal notices. I saw fellow students memorize sections without understanding how to apply them. I saw litigants in court corridors completely lost.

This blog is my small effort to change that.

My Areas of Interest

I am particularly drawn to two fields of law — and you will see them reflected in many of my posts:

1. Arbitration & ADR

Court cases take years. Arbitration offers a faster, private, and often fairer alternative. I am learning how arbitration works in India — from the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to recent Supreme Court judgments. I want to make this complex subject simple for students and professionals alike.

2. Intellectual Property Law

Creators — artists, writers, small business owners, YouTubers — often do not know how to protect their work. I am fascinated by how copyright, trademark, and design laws can empower ordinary people. Expect posts on IP registration, infringement, and enforcement.

What You Will Find on LawVibes

This is not a typical law blog. You will not find:

  • Dense, unreadable case law downloads
  • Cut-and-paste legal sections without explanation
  • Ads that interrupt your reading experience

You will find:

  • Step-by-step legal guides (how to file a complaint, how to draft a notice)
  • Plain-language explanations of key legal terms (like my 100+ Legal Terms Glossary)
  • Practical insights from my internships and law school experience
  • Honest disclaimers — I am a student, not a Supreme Court advocate. But I know how to research, and I know how to explain.

Why You Should Trust Me (And When You Should Not)

What I can offer:

  • A final-year law student who has studied core subjects (CPC, CrPC/BNSS, Contract, Torts, IPR, Arbitration)
  • Real-world exposure through my internship at De Legal
  • A commitment to accuracy — I cite judgments, acts, and official sources
  • A genuine desire to help people understand their legal rights

What I cannot offer:

  • Legal advice for your specific case (I am not yet an enrolled advocate)
  • An attorney-client relationship (read my disclaimer)
  • Guarantees about case outcomes

If you have a serious legal problem, please consult a qualified advocate. If you want to understand the law so you can ask the right questions — LawVibes is for you.

 Connect With Me

I am building my professional network. If you are a law student, a junior lawyer, or simply someone interested in legal awareness, let's connect.

A Note on My Writing Process

Every article on LawVibes is researched using:

  • Original judgments from the Supreme Court and High Courts
  • Bare Acts and official government sources
  • My own class notes and internship experiences

I use AI tools to help with editing, formatting, and generating practice images — but the legal analysis, the structure, and the final review are mine. I verify every legal claim before it goes live.

What's Next for LawVibes?

I plan to keep writing, keep learning, and keep growing. In the coming months, expect:

  • More arbitration explainers (with case examples)
  • IP registration guides for small creators
  • Guest posts from practicing advocates

Disclaimer (Please Read)

LawVibes is an educational blog. I am a law student, not an advocate. No information on this site creates an attorney-client relationship. For legal advice specific to your situation, please consult a qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
